Three Oaks Residence
Sited on an abandoned thirty-acre tree farm in Michigan, the Three Oaks Retreat consists of a main house, a detached guest house, and a century old relocated timber frame barn. The project features a palette of sustainable materials, including reclaimed heavy timber framing and locally harvested stone. Radiant floor heat was used throughout to provide ultimate comfort during the harsh Midwestern winters, while reducing the demand on energy consumption.
